Competitive/ Recreation League
* Maximum 12 players per team.
* Minimum 9 players per team.
* All efforts will be made for participants to play for their school district or private school when requested and are from that district or private school.
League Divisions
CBRC Volleyball offers two divisions to ensure players are placed where they can learn, grow, and compete successfully:

Progressive Division designed for players who:
Have 3 or more years of volleyball experience
May have played in other leagues
Can serve from the back line
Demonstrate high-intermediate to advanced skill levels

Developmental Division
Designed for players who:
Have less than 3 years of experience
Are not yet able to serve from the back line
Have only played in the CBRC league
Are building foundational volleyball skills

Player Evaluation During Registration:
during registration, you will be asked to provide:
1) Your player’s skill level (Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, High Intermediate, Advanced)
2) Years of volleyball experience (0–3 or 3+ years)
3) Whether your player has participated in other leagues
4) Any special requests for coaches or teammates
Please note: Requests are not guaranteed and will be considered only if they support team balance and player development.

Placement Adjustments
To ensure the best experience for all players, CBRC representatives and coaches may adjust a player’s division placement if their on-court performance indicates a better fit in another division.

Registration will close Monday, September 14th 2026 at 8:00am.
Late registrations will be accepted based on space on teams.
Late registration fee is $82.00 per participant, and scholarships are not available for late registrations. .

Season at-a-Glance
August 17- Registration opens
September 14th- Registration Closes @ 8:00am
3 Weeks of pre- season:
September 7 -Volleyball Clinics/ Practices (Week 1) Days, Times (TBD)
September 14 -Volleyball Clinics/ Practices (Week 2) Days & Times (TBD)
Week of September 21 -Team Practices Begin (Week 3)
Week of September 28- Regular Season Games Start
October 4 -Team Pictures

Game and practices days & times -Monday & Wednesday (possibly some teams will practice and play games on Tuesday & Thursday, depending on how many teams we have)
All games and practices will be at Booker T. Washington Center - 1010 19th Street- Altoona, PA
